Lebanese University (LU) professors staged a sit-in demanding fair compensation in front of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education headquarters in Beirut. Frustrated by a $2 hourly wage and unpaid salaries, LU's Committee of Contractual Hourly Teachers threatened a full strike if their demands were not met.
