OUTLOOK ABOUT

Mission

Outlook's mission has evolved through time, starting from its charter mission in 1950, which recognizes it as "a truthful, comprehensive and intelligent account of University events and situations in a context that gives them meaning."

Today, Outlook's mission has evolved beyond retelling accounts and narratives. Living true to its name, we seek to provide all students a platform to express their outlook on all matters of life. As the student paper, we value our independence and seek to promote democracy across campus while fostering a culture of dialogue, intellectualism and knowledge-sharing. Internally, we seek to provide our members with a space to grow and explore their interests and abilities - allowing them to realize the value of their contributions.

With this mission, we hope to provide students not only with a safe space, but also with an interesting and dynamic paper to look forward to!
