The President’s Innovation Challenge brought together 10 Finalists, 5 distinguished Jury members, and over 100 esteemed guests at AUB and 60 online on November 28th, 2024.

SchedEx – Advanced Stage Award ($30K): an AI-powered SaaS solution revolutionizing employee and shift management for the Hospitality and F&B industries, helping clients save at least 15% on labor costs.
Aralects – Early Stage Award ($15K) & People’s Choice Award: Building the go-to app for learning Arabic dialects.
Prevo Biotech – Chinyeh Hostler Award for Social Innovation ($10K): Pioneering land-free agriculture through producing nutritious food crops by fermentation. /p>

On Saturday, June 28th, startups and mentors of the ‘Build and Accelerate’ program came together for a day of hiking and team-building activities on the banks of Nahr El Joz, followed by lunch in the picturesque village of Douma.

The Talal and Madiha Zein AUB-Innovation Park at AUB launched the “Tech for Accessibility Hackathon” this summer in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts and Science (FAS), the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the Office of Information and Technology, the Office of student Affairs, and the Rafic Hariri School of Nursing with support from the Beirut Digital District, Zaka, and Zoho.
