INSTITUTE
The Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute (NKBCI) at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) is a state-of-the-art adult cancer facility providing comprehensive cancer treatment and research.
The Institute was established through the generous contribution of the Naef K. Basile Foundation. The late Lebanese-American physician’s lifelong wish was to give back to his country of birth, founding an institute that would compare with the best cancer centers in the world.
The NKBCI relies on multidisciplinary specialized teams to diagnose and treat cancer and fosters health education programs to raise awareness on cancer prevention and early diagnosis.
