WSA National Nominee 2022
It is with great pleasure that we announce 4 of our startups shortlisted as National Nominees for the World Summit Awards (WSA) 2022 competition, in partnership with the Professional Computer Association, (PCA), the host of WSA in Lebanon:
- Drive Green [ENVIRONMENT & GREEN ENERGY]: Vehicles charging stations – Drive Green wants to enable the shift to an electrified sustainable transportation sector. They locally design and assemble charging stations for electric vehicles. These stations run using photovoltaic power.
- DonaLeb [HEALTH & WELL BEING]: DonaLeb is a complementary well-being app that makes every step count. With every step logged, advertising budgets of firms are being used in a social impact manner to raise donations for charities connected with the app.
- ReachUp [INCLUSION & EMPOWERMENT]: Reach up Delivers online teaching from the safety of the student’s home. They provide an engaging and varied curriculum while monitoring the progress through the AI platform configured for adapted learning.
- Zaka.ai [LEARNING & EDUCATION]: Zaka is on a journey to democratize Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the MENA region and globally through sharing knowledge, building solutions, and connecting people! They specialize in AI education, graduating Data Scientists & Machine Engineers and design customized training programs. Zaka helps companies find qualified Data and AI talent by connecting them with our graduates and regional community.
We are delighted to have Ms. Maha Zouwayhed, Mr. Hussein Ayoub, and Mr. Camille Moukarzel as jury members for this stage of the competition.
The WSA nominees are selected carefully and highly competitive by the WSA National Experts from more than 184 UN member states. The WSA National Experts nominate up to eight projects for each country – one for every WSA category
