In 1995, Mobb Deep, one of New York’s most iconic rap duos, released Shook Ones Part II, a song still considered one of the greatest rap songs of all time. Interestingly, the sample used in creating the song remained an elusive mystery for over a decade and a half. An online community emerged in response – coming together in an attempt to discover where the track’s sample originated from.
