Who are you?
You’re invisible, yet we can feel the wind when you enter a room
You’re untouchable, yet it becomes hard to let you go once we catch you
You’re unavoidable,
Every person, no matter the size, age, or gender, can get hit by you
You rule the world

Did you know?
That some call you warmth, and others intimacy,
But you know that one word can’t define you
Musicians, poets, and preachers have been trying
But your definition is an endless and ever-evolving journey
You rule the world

Who are you? I ask again,
Desired by many, disliked by many,
Your unimaginable sweetness has the potential to turn an arid land into a garden full of roses
Sometimes, you become a bitter-sweet catastrophe that yields
An unbearable amount of pain, leaving a heavy burden that takes ages to lift off
You rule the world

Where do you come from? You uninvited guest
It’s how you just show up from nowhere and change everything,
It’s as if your presence holds a key to a door that has never been opened before in our lives
Damn! Your audacity is phenomenal
You rule the world

Do you have an idea of your effect?
The way you attack the brain and destroy the heart
with a force too strong than the magnetic field
It is a specialty to behold, and certainly, it needs to be avoided
You rule the world

Are you the solution or the problem?
From a million testimonies of those who have encountered you
Say that you are beautiful as much as you are dangerous
A good friend with some bad habits
A blue, warm ocean with a rocky bottom that can badly injure if not careful
You rule the world

Ooh, you of enigmatic nature
A wind that’s neither too hot nor too chilly that leaves us with suspense
Will it keep on being cozy or intensify and become a deadly storm?
I think it’s fair to let you exist as you are

Because your preciousness comes from being undefined
And that alone is a testament to how complicated and powerful you are
YOU CERTAINLY RULE THE WORLD.
