So close yet so far away,
Bound to you so hard so I don’t stray
You’re burning me, my flesh to ashes with every gaze
Yet you’re the only light that can find its way in my maze
We hurt, we bleed
We pray ourselves out of this need
Yet every night we blindly take another leap
Wishing each other we can keep
Your breath around my neck
Ripping me to pieces making me sick
Your patient is what became of me
No medicine, no curse can break it free
An addict is what you created
Everything that I deeply hated
Fading within your waves, Drowning in your ocean
Never has death ever felt so in motion
