Over a month of fits and not a single flop…

One of the most anticipated movies of the year finally hit theaters: ‘DUNE’. As with any premiere the public is bombarded with press junket content and red carpets, and one of the film’s stars did not miss a beat! Look after look, Zendaya (with help of her stylist Law Roach) was breaking the internet, as she should! 

Let’s take a look at her stellar fashion over the past month and half.

Starting with her arrival in Venice, Zendaya represented Valentino in a mix of feminine and masculine. She styled a white, collared, floor-length dress with a high leg slit. The dress also featured a statement pink ribbon, topped off with an oversized black blazer. 

Now, this showstopping look is one that I still can’t get over! Zendaya stunned at the Venice International Film Festival in a nude Balmain gown that emulates a sculpture or statue. The gown was made using a cast of her chest to achieve the draping, almost wet, look of the fabric.

We can’t dismiss that 93-carat (insane!) Bulgari emerald necklace paired with the dress. I can’t get over the statuesque likeness here!

In an interview with ET, Zendaya wore another Balmain stunner. This time she donned a deep blue, patent leather, custom corset top, featuring a front zip. The top was also made using a cast model of her bust to achieve the perfect fit. Safe to say Balmain and Zendaya are a fashion match made in heaven!

Onto Paris, where the star stole the show in a deep maroon colored, two-piece gown by Maison Alaïa. The look featured a cropped long-sleeve top paired with a floor-length skirt, detailed at the waist, sinching at the knees and flaring out with maroon feathers. To top it off, her hair was styled in curls, really pulling the look together and giving it a classy yet fun feel.

Upon her arrival in London, Zendaya took to social media with the caption: “When in London…wear Viviane Westwood”, and I couldn’t have said it better myself. So many things right about this look, where to begin! She pairs a brown checkered skirt with a backless, chain halter top. Surprisingly, this is probably her most casual look on this list, but no less stunning!

I could not possibly discuss Zendaya’s Dune looks without finishing it off with the London premiere. She closes of this list with a breathtaking Rick Owens off-white gown. The sculpture-like dress was sequined all over, with one sleeve, and an extravagant neckline. The free sleeve was clad in non-other than Bulgari and the star topped the look off with striking purple eye-makeup. 

That rounds up Zendaya’s six-week streak of iconic looks, and it’s official: DUNE is confirmed for part two, set to release in October 2023. That means more of Zendaya and Law Roach’s sensational looks. I don’t know about you but I cannot wait to see what they have in store, Dune-related or not!
