Beirut Blast Project

The Beirut blast project was established in partnership with the University of Southamptom in response to the 2020 Beirut Blast, the third largest mass casualty incident in modern times. This project investigates multiple aspects of mass casualties incidents, including (1) Hospitals’ emergency and disaster preparedness and response plans; (2) Epidemiology of injuries; (3) Short and long-term health impacts; (4) Risk and protective factors associated with injury, disability, and death; and (5) Insights and recommendations for effective interventions and recovery strategies.

Concussion Training Project
