Welcome to Hajj Injury Lab
Hajj Injury Lab is a research lab directed by Dr. Samar Al-Hajj at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) at the American University of Beirut (AUB).
Our research focuses on epidemiological and translational investigation of injuries, including but not limited to road traffic injuries, pediatric and adult injuries, residential fire injuries, and mass casualties. Our primary goal is to advance our understanding of the theory and practice of injury prevention to reduce the burden of injuries locally and regionally.
Hajj Injury Lab is a partner research lab with MENA Program for Advanced Injury Research (MENA PAIR), where Dr. Samar Al-Hajj also serves as a co-founding director. This collaboration amplifies our research capabilities and facilitates knowledge exchange and collaborative efforts to address the complex challenges related to injuries.
We invite you to explore our website to discover more about our ongoing research projects, activities, and notable achievements. By working together, we can make significant contributions to creating a safer and healthier environment for individuals and communities.
