In July 2022, Dr. Samar Al-Hajj, representing MENA PAIR, collaborated with Cincinnati Children's Hospital, YASA, and NRSC to organize the 'National Child Road Passenger Safety Workshop' across four regions in Lebanon (Beirut, Tripoli, Nabatiye, and Tyre). These workshops aimed to address pediatric road traffic injuries by educating attendees on risk and protective factors. Dr. Al-Hajj presented her research on the high incidence of such injuries in Lebanon, accompanied by Ms. Michelle Price who demonstrated proper car and booster seat usage to 120 families. Dr. Salman Mroueh (AUB) and Mr. Joe Dakash (YASA) stressed the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and using child safety restraints.
