As part of the injury prevention workshop series organized by MENA PAIR and BCIRPU, Dr. Shelina Babul and Dr. Samar Al-Hajj conducted the 'Concussion Recognition, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management' workshop on March 11, 2023. Dr. Al-Hajj provided an overview of recent MENA region research on the burden and impact of concussions, with a specific focus on the Lebanese context. Attendees also completed the 'Concussion Awareness Training Tool (CATT)', an award-winning tool developed as part of the Concussion Harmonization Project—a federal initiative in Canada aimed at enhancing concussion prevention, recognition, and treatment. This training workshop attracted school nurses, coaches, physiotherapists, researchers, and physicians from various institutions across Lebanon, fostering their expertise in concussion detection and management
