​The WHO FCTC Knowledge Hub on Waterpipe Tobacco Smoking at The American University of Beirut and the Tobacco Free Initiative cordially invite you to World No Tobacco Day 2024 on May 31, 2024, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (Beirut time) at Charles Hostler Auditorium, AUB. This year’s theme is “Protecting Children from Tobacco Industry Interference”.

Observing this Day will include panel discussions, moderated by the distinguished Dr. Imad Bou Hamad, Associate Professor at the Olayan School of Business, and deliberations on how to counter the epidemic of tobacco and nicotine products use by youth in Lebanon.
