On April 22, 2025, passionate pioneers from across Lebanon came together to launch PallAware — a student-led initiative founded by medical student Nijad Zeineddine under the Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute and the Palliative and Supportive Care Program at the American University of Beirut Medical Center.
PallAware is dedicated to advancing palliative care through education, awareness, fundraising, and research.
