The Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute and the Dermatology department organized a Skin Cancer Awareness & Screening day on November 30, 2023 at the Aida & Halim Daniel Academic and Clinical Center.
The community activity called for the public to Come and get checked, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Stands were set up for a free skin examination at the ACC lobby.
Patient education infographic flyers prepared at the institute were shared on Detecting dangerous moles and Skin cancer risk factors as well as awareness on skin cancer.
A digital awareness campaign also ran on AUBMC’s social media platforms highlighting skin cancer symptoms, causes and treatment.
