Fatah Kashanchi, PhD

Dr. Fatah Kashanchi is the Director of Research at the laboratory of Molecular Virology at the George Mason University, USA. He has authored or co-authored more than 215 peer-reviewed manuscripts and served as an editorial board member and reviewer for journals such as JBC, Retrovirology, J. Virol, Virology, NAR, 4 PLoS Journals, Cell, Molecular Cell, Nature Medicine, Nature communications, Scientific report and Science Translational Medicine. In addition, he has an impressive record of funding from NIH, DOD, DOE, and others, and is a regular NIH study section member where he chaired or co-chaired 17 panels of the 143 he participated in

Renaud Mahieux, PhD

Dr. Renaud Mahieux is the Director of Research of the laboratory of Oncogenic Retroviruses at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS). He has published more than 128 peer-reviewed manuscripts and served as editorial board member for Journal of Virology, Retrovirology, PloS One and Virology, and as a reviewer for Blood, Scientific Report, PloS Pathogens. He has obtained several grants (FRM Label, League against Cancer, French National Cancer Institute, ARC, and National Research Agency (ANR). Renaud Mahieux served as an INSERM study section member as well as in an AIDS National Research Agency (ANRS) and ANR committee. He serves as a member of the local League against cancer agency and an expert for evaluating European Community proposals

Leen Haydar, MBA

Ms. Leen Haydar is a Grants Coordinator at the Office of Grants and Contracts at AUB, where she handles the pre-award management of all proposal applications, post-award management of CNRS-L, CEDRE, ERANETMED & LIRA grants, and helps faculty members identify external funding opportunities. Leen holds a BS degree in Food Science and Management from the American University of Beirut and is currently completing her master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the Lebanese American University.
