Environmental Health Initiative

Who are we?

The Environmental Health (EH) initiative aims to provide evidence-based interventions, building safer and healthier environments. It works on developing safety standard procedures and raising awareness to reduce risks of exposure to potential hazards.

HERAC-4-Beirut

Health and Environment Research and Action Consortium for Beirut

We worked on forming a consortium of scholar and researchers from Lebanon and abroad.
The consortium initially proposed the idea of a document assessing the impact of the Beirut Port Blast.
Currently, it has potential to bring scholars together in addressing various disasters.

2CoAct

The EH initiative expands its efforts by taking part in international collaborations addressing climate change. We hosted a webinar showcasing local and global perspectives on the power of community-led solutions tackling environmental issues.
