Game Jam: Games for Palestine

As part of Palestine Week, instructors and students came together to explore a selection of games crafted for Palestine by developers worldwide. Developed and published across several years, these games include submissions from multiple global game jams dedicated to Palestine. From this diverse pool, the Gaming Academy team at SAIL for Change cluster selected 10 resonating games to showcase during Palestine Week.

Each game offers a unique perspective on Palestinian narratives, capturing voices yearning for freedom and celebrating cultural richness. Notably, “Oh Rascal Children of Gaza” by Atiya Nova has left a lasting impression on players, evoking profound emotions as they witnessed the haunting portrayal of children disappearing from an alley, with their neighbor desperately pleading for their return.
