Submitting data surveys for International Ranking, Benchmarking and Accreditation Agencies in the Higher Education sector.
The challenge in managing about 20 surveys (with all its subordinates) per year is not only in time management or prioritization by deadline but it is also in balancing the data collection process into two categories: the data available from accessible sources and the data or information available from inaccessible sources. E.g. accessible data from systems vs information owned by stakeholders through non-accessible systems. Not to mention also the need for organizational skills to structure and save all the data records, the definitions and the queries for recycling and auditing purposes.

Promoting the use of data, analytics, information and evidence to facilitate insights and improve decision making.
- Ensuring a great amount of relevant data is available through open format reports like Excel, etc..
- Ensuring the campus distribution of quality data
- Using the data in campus-decision making
- Creating a data rich environment with close cooperation with IT
Sampling
Processing many students’ representative sampling
Developing, administering, and managing surveys
- Stratified sampling of undergraduate junior students with their respective free time-slots to undertake specific exams or tests
- Representative sampling of CRNs (Course Reference Number) for Student Focus Group and other internal surveys
- Representative sampling of students for diverse internal campus taskforce and ranking surveys
- Stratified random sampling of students in classrooms for AUB Student Registration Survey
Assessment / Environment scan
Evaluating the current AUB position in the market study and change within the market place in addition to benchmarking.
- Monitored the retention/graduation rates of diverse cohorts,
- Monitored demographic student trends, aging of the population and socio-economic diversity study
- Assessed graduate students’ attitudes, perceptions, and satisfaction in addition to employability from surveys
- Developed internal surveys and assessment reports for “AUB Ranking and benchmarking positions” and “AUB Student Services for Career placement”.
- Studied and analyzed the peers and competition
- Assessed graduating students’ attitudes, perceptions and satisfaction by improving and analyzing the surveys
