The project At the confluence of Geometry, Analysis and Mathematical Physics (GAMP) is part of the Research Group Linkage Programme that is sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt foundation. It is devoted to the study of problems that require a strong interplay between these three areas of research fields.
The project arises from the impetus given by the remarkable recent development of mathematical research in Lebanon. The project supports the research visits of its investigators between Germany and Lebanon over the three years period January 2020 – December 2022.
The project comprises researchers from three universities, namely the American University Beirut (AUB, Lebanon), the Lebanese University-Fanar (LU, Lebanon) and the University of Potsdam (UP, Germany).
