Short Biography
Dr. Wael Shamseddeen is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at American University of Beirut and adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Michigan. He is also the director of the child & adolescent psychiatry division at AUB Medical Center, and the training director of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship.
Dr. Shamseddeen has received the “Teacher of Year” Award at American University of Beirut and University of Michigan. His research focuses on mood disorders & ADHD particularly diagnostic challenges and treatment. He has been granted several research awards and has coauthored more than 55 peer-reviewed articles & multiple book chapters.
