Short Biography
Samer El Hayek is a specialist psychiatrist at Erada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai. Additionally, he is an adjunct assistant professor at the Department of Psychiatry at the American University of Beirut. Dr. El Hayek’s expertise lies in motivational interviewing and providing a comprehensive, individualized, and culturally-tailored approach to treating addiction. He actively contributes to mental health research, with an extensive portfolio of publications and several editorial positions. He serves as a board member and the Eastern Mediterranean Region representative of the Network of Early Career Professionals working in the area of Addiction Medicine (NECPAM).
