To enhance the students’ creativity, a space is given where they could conduct their experimental creative work. They could combine different materials and study their material properties using MSFEA and the CRSL facilities at AUB.Â

Smart Structures and Structural Integrity Laboratory
The mission of the Laboratory of Smart Structures and Structural Integrity (SSSI) is to develop innovative sensor technologies for Structural Health Monitoring of our mechanical, and civil infrastructure. Further, perform research on the fabrication and enhancement of advanced materials and structures. Ultimately, aiming to empower our structures with a new level of artificial intelligence to assist in decision-making, preventive maintenance and prediction of performance.
