Graduate Students:
I am accepting graduate students who want to investigate intrinsic neuronal properties and neural circuits using electrophysiological (either in vitro or in vivo), computational, behavioral or fluorescence imaging approaches. Expertise in computer programming, strong writing skills, and some lab research experience are preferred. Prospective students can join the lab through several ways:
- Biomedical Engineering Program: An interdisciplinary program housed under MSFEA with a traditional biomedical engineering format, including two years of coursework.
- I can also work with students from other programs at AUB, including faculties/departments of Medicine, Computer Science, Mathematics and other disciplines of engineering at MSFEA.
- Non-AUB who wish to join my lab as research assistants, please email Prof. Arij Daou (arij.daou@aub.edu.lb)
Undergraduate Students:
Undergraduate student researchers make significant contributions to research in the Daou Lab. Paid summer fellowships are available to students who have worked in the lab for at least a year or with significant computational experience.
Please email Prof. Arij Daou (arij.daou@aub.edu.lb) for more information .
