he Pain Management Center at AUBMC offers a comprehensive range of services based on the latest information, technology, and medical advancements in pain to treat patients with acute or chronic pain problems. We pride ourselves in bringing our patients the best treatments possible in a professional and caring atmosphere.
As a first-of-its-kind center not only at AUBMC but in Lebanon and the region as well, the Pain Management Center treats the entire patient and provides some of the world’s most advanced evidence- based effective treatment options in a supportive, compassionate environment on an inpatient and outpatient basis. We strive to provide a multidisciplinary team approach for patients with chronic pain due to injury or cancer. To optimize pain management, our patient-centered approach focuses on capturing the patient’s experience through a comprehensive medical, physical, and psychological evaluation.

ABOUT US
Mission
Our mission is to provide a full service Pain Management Center aiming to diagnose and treat chronic pain syndromes through reducing pain and increasing the ability to cope with it. We aim to improve function and the quality of life for people who are adversely affected by pain both physically and emotionally.

Our vision is to be a center of excellence leading in pain management practice in Lebanon and the region with a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients through innovative treatment.
Our Team
Our team consists of well-trained and highly qualified physicians with sub-specialties including neurologists, anesthesiologists, psychiatrists, physical therapists and rheumatologists.
SERVICES
The Pain Management Center specialists help patients learn how to manage their pain more effectively and improve their daily activities and functions. Patients can be self-referred or referred by primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, orthopedic, rheumatologist, and neurologist. The center also functions as a tertiary center. Our Services include a multidisciplinary evaluation of chronic pain patients, interventional pain procedures, and psychological testing and evaluation and therapy.
LOCATION
Patients are welcomed to visit us at the 9th floor of Halim and Aida Daniel Academic and Clinical Center (Daniel ACC).
EDUCATION
The center plays a pivotal role in the enhancement of the existing clinical training in pain management for residents and fellows and establishment of training opportunities in clinical research. It exposes anesthesia residents as well as residents from other disciplines in medicine to pain management through designated rotation during their residency.
