The Naef K.Basile Cancer Institute partnered with the Dermatology department and LOIG volunteers for an engaging “Skin Cancer Awareness and Screening Day” event.
Through awareness booths with physicians and nurses, where information for Skin Cancer was also shared in Arabic & English, we raised awareness about the risks of sun exposure and highlighted ways to prevent skin cancer. Dermatology specialists screened a high number of patients for signs of skin cancer at examination booths specially set up for the occasion.
