Dr. Hadi Jaafar appointed to IHE-Delft Water and Development Partnership Programme International Committee
Dr. Jaafar has been appointed to serve on the International Committee of The Water and Development Partnership Programme 2021-2027 (DUPC3), supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under Dutch development/foreign policy.
The DUPC3 program acknowledges the need to enhance and broaden the body of knowledge on inclusive and sustainable water management practices.
The programme will run for six and a half years (mid 2021 until end 2027) and has a total budget of 46 million euro. The members of the committee play a key role in shaping the DUPC3 program’s directions and coordinating its implementation. They will write and launch calls for proposals, find partnership opportunities, review project proposals, and provide feedback on and approval of annual plans. The members of the committee will work closely with the learning networks and project teams, as well as oversee the program’s overall implementation.
The program aims to execute and support initiatives that contribute to a socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable water sector.
