A smart mobile application to regulate the amount of irrigation in agriculture

ITSET workshop focused on the technical and agricultural aspects of irrigation scheduling using an Android application.
The workshop was held in Tyre, South of Lebanon on January 30th, 2020. Four themes were identified to address the various issues in irrigation scheduling and more than 35 participants from different areas of expertise attended the workshop.
Dr. Hadi Jaafar opened the workshop and presented the application demo.
Preliminary results of the field survey in the South of Lebanon were disussed during the workshop.
We work closely with farmers and agriculture professionals to face pressing climate challenges impacting irrigation.
